Summer Recreational League

The Summer Recreational League runs from July 6 through August 6. Players practice on Monday evenings and play games on Thursday evenings—leaving weekends free.

Teams are led by volunteer parent coaches. Parent head coaches receive reimbursement for their child’s registration fee at the end of the season.

Practice & Registration Information

Practices will be held Monday nights. Practice locations will be determined by the coach.

We will do our best to keep you in the same quadrant that you live, but this depends on the number of coaches we have.

Thursday games begin at either 5:30 or 6:30 p.m. at Watson Soccer Complex.

2026 Practice Nights- Mondays- July 6th, 13th, 20th, 27th, and August 3rd

2026 Game Nights- Thursdays- July 9th, 16th, 23rd, 30th and August 6th

GENERAL Registration (March 27th, 2026 – April 30th, 2026)

**Players should register for the grade they will be in for the 2026 Fall season**
Grade K = $50
Grades 1st/2nd = $50
Grades 3rd/4th = $60
Grades 5th/6th = $70

REGISTER FOR FREE BY BECOMING A HEAD COACH FOR OUR REC PROGRAM! WE WILL PROVIDE ALL LESSON PLANS, AND EQUIPMENT. PLEASE CONSIDER HELPING AS THE PROGRAM IS BASED ON VOLUNTEER COACHES. HEAD COACHES WILL RECEIVE A REFUND OF THEIR CHILD'S REGISTRATION FEE AT THE END OF THE SEASON.

More volunteer age group coordinators are needed! Please contact the North Star FC office or the Rec League Chairperson if you are interested in volunteering.

At North Star FC, we believe every child should have the opportunity to play, regardless of financial circumstances. If you need assistance, we offer a Financial Aid option during registration through PlayMetrics.

To apply:

  1. Log in to PlayMetrics and begin the registration process.
  2. Click on the "Financial Aid" tab before completing your registration.
  3. Submit your application with the required information.

Once submitted, your request will be reviewed by our team. You will receive an email notification once your application has been approved or denied. After receiving a decision, you may proceed with registering for the program.
