Fall Recreational League
Through the North Star FC Fall Rec league, teams play other teams from Rochester and the nearby surrounding communities. To encourage a fun and developmental atmosphere, each child plays at least half of each game, no matter the skill level. Scores and league standings are not recorded.
This is a volunteer based program- all coaches are volunteers. Some coaches will have soccer experience and others will not. Our full time coaching director will work and guide each coach.
Fall 2026 Registration
The priority registration deadline was July 20. Late registrations are automatically added to the waitlist, and players are accepted as space becomes available.
Practice & Registration Information
The committee will do it’s best to keep your player in the quadrant (NW, NE, SW, SE) in which they live. Practicing in your quadrant is NOT guaranteed! This is dependent on the number of coaches that volunteer to coach. For example, if we have 40 2nd girls from the SE and only one coach, not all the players will be in the SE.
If you register for the REC program you are agreeing that you will practice anywhere in the Rochester City Limits. REFUNDS WILL NOT BE GIVEN if you do not get the location you want.

Kindergarten – Tuesday
1st-2nd Grade – Mon / Wed
3rd-4th Grade – Tue / Thu
5th-6th Grade Girls – Tue / Thu
5th-6th Grade Boys – Mon / Wed
7th-9th Grade – coach’s choice
**Practice Times are determined by the coach. Most coaches choose 5:30 or 6:00 pm

The dates for the 2026 Fall Rec season are:
- Practices will officially start the week of September 7th and conclude the week of October 19th
- All games are on Saturdays with the first games on September 12th
- No Games MEA Weekend- October 17th
- The last games will be on October 24th

Financial aid is available. It is located on the page when you begin your registration- click on club programs, and then at the top you will see Financial Aid- fill out the information and submit.
REGISTER FOR FREE BY BECOMING A HEAD COACH FOR OUR REC PROGRAM! WE WILL PROVIDE ALL LESSON PLANS, AND EQUIPMENT. PLEASE CONSIDER HELPING AS THE PROGRAM IS BASED ON VOLUNTEER COACHES. HEAD COACHES WILL RECEIVE A REFUND OF THEIR CHILD'S REGISTRATION FEE AT THE END OF THE SEASON.
